(writen mid may)

Fucking Awesome!

That's how Chelsea, another crew member, quoted our daily life. Indeed, it doesn't get better. Waking up at sea and from north to south, east to west, water extending as far as the horizon will allow you to see. I was at the helm and came by on my port side a couple of dolphins, swam for a minute or so, a way to say hello, I done a couple of s' with Infinity to play with them and they left. Same day around mid day, about 20 dolphins sticked around for half an hour while we where under sail and plowing thru the waves. They were playing in the bow wave and obviously having fun! Beautiful. Sailing through the south China sea from Layang Layang to Tioman was a 6 days passage and it was quite fun. Not enough wind, quite honestly, but we still had fun. Warrior one on a rocking boat is quite something!!!!

The past couple of days have been spent mostly ashore on the Island of Tioman, still on Malaysia. The Infinity adventure will bring me to Singapore soon and afterward to Thaïland. The idea of doing my dive master is in the back of my mind. It could be a way to get my trip going on! To be continued... The Infinity adventure has brought me, and still does, some of the most beautiful experiences, craziest adventures, picturesque landscapes, sunrises and sunsets better than I could ever imagine, and so the list goes on. I'm basically living the dream and and every minute is brillant. It blows my mind that I'm actually doing what I've read about so many times in Crusing world and sailing books and everywhere it would be possible for someone to write about the dream and what paradise is all about. It's a little bit overwhelming but don't you worry, I'm making sure I'm enjoying every second of it! To help me do that, there's many amazing people around to share life amazingness, one smile in particular!

On the downside of this over the top adventure, I feel like I don't cover enough ground. I left with an idea of this trip to fill my passport with stamp but it's was really way of expressing my desire to see many differents things and feel, taste and discover new things everyday. I'm in known territories here on a sailboat and it's certainly not a crazy experience like China has been.

Shark: I was on a dive with a couple of people and it was allright until this 7' Blacktip shark showed up and scared the shit out of me. FYI: a shark is at the top of the food chain down there under the water. So, I was shit scared and the shark circled us 6 times before leaving but that minute was terrifying. The feeling of being so vunerable is a powerful one. As I was looking into the black empty eyes of the shark, I felt in me mixed feelings that still today are quite powerful. One thing is for sure is that, as human, it's important to respect the fact that we are not invincible even if we think we are at the top of every food chain. It really does makes you appreciate life a notch more!

Let say you're being attack by a bear. It is most likely that I'll try to hold on to you and that you'll try to escape it's grip. But, what if you'd actually hold on to and squeeze him as hard as you can? Maybe that you'd actually work and he'd release you because the pain in the chest would be too great. New way to fight the bears?
